Azer Clinic, a physical therapy center in Galesburg, celebrates the grand opening of their golf fitness center, which uses golf technology from Body Balance for Performance to improve the golf swing and help reduce golf related injuries and pain.

Galesburg, IL (PRWeb) April 9, 2007 -- Azer Clinic, a physical therapy center in Galesburg, celebrates the grand opening of their golf fitness center, which uses golf technology from Body Balance for Performance to improve the golf swing and help reduce golf related injuries and pain.

Golfers in Galesburg will soon have new golf fitness resources thanks to the physical therapists at Azer Clinic and golf technology developed by Body Balance for Performance. The Galesburg Body Balance Center, which opened this year, aims to diagnose and correct golf swing flaws related to the physical limitations of a golfer's body.

This new golf technology will help them get more distance, more consistency and improve their game.
"We are very excited about the new technology we have at the Galesburg Body Balance Center," said Cheri Hosteng, V.P. of the Sports Enhancement Division at Azer Rehab Systems. "This will help our clients have a better understanding of how their physical limitations are affecting their golf swing and overall performance."

The Body Balance golf fitness program uses 3-D motion capture and computer analysis to test a golfer's center of gravity, shoulder and hip rotation, and biomechanical swing plane. The system provides visual feedback, allowing golf fitness experts and physical therapists to see golf swing flaws that can't be detected with the naked eye. With this information, golfers can be re-trained to perform their "ideal golf swing", which will give them optimal performance while reducing the risk of injury.

In addition to preventing injury and discomfort, golfers can expect the following benefits from the Body Balance for Performance program:

  • Improved golf swing consistency
  • Improved accuracy
  • Increased power for longer drives
  • Lower golf scores

"Our clients will really see the difference out on the golf course," said Cheri. "This new golf technology will help them get more distance, more consistency and improve their game."
