The law firm of Klinedinst PC continues the expansion of its Los Angeles office, adding Daniel S. Sandman and Serena A. Spencer. Mr. Sandman was originally a television journalist with the Miami NBC affiliate who decided to not just cover legal issues, but also help shape them. He earned his J.D. from John Marshall Law School, became a respected attorney in Chicago and moved west to Los Angeles to practice law in California. Ms. Spencer brings a wealth of litigation and trial experience. She previously worked as a fine art consultant for a Beverly Hills art gallery before becoming a California attorney. Both bring unique perspectives and significant legal experience to Klinedinst Los Angeles.
Los Angeles, CA (PRWeb) April 11, 2007 -- Klinedinst Los Angeles is pleased to announce that Daniel S. Sandman and Serena A. Spencer have joined the firm's growing corporate litigation team. Both are experienced attorneys who bring with them a wealth of knowledge in the areas of business litigation, professional liability, environmental and product liability.
Daniel Sandman first started his career as a television journalist, working for WTVJ NBC 6 in Miami and WAMI-TV in Miami Beach, Florida. Mr. Sandman's coverage of breaking news stories involving legal issues, government and media inspired him to attend law school at The John Marshall Law School in Chicago. A Dean's Scholar, Mr. Sandman was invited to contribute to The John Marshall Law Review, and worked on a post-conviction petition as a Criminal Justice Clinic volunteer.
Upon graduation, Mr. Sandman began practicing law in Chicago, where he focused on tort negligence cases, trying jury trials to verdict and resolving numerous cases through arbitration and mediation. While practicing in Chicago, Mr. Sandman was twice appointed by the Illinois Supreme Court to the Court's Character and Fitness Committee, which is responsible for holding hearings and reviews of applicants to the Illinois Bar. He is licensed to practice law in both Illinois and California.
Serena Spencer is an experienced business attorney with significant trial experience. As part of her practice, she focuses on product liability, toxic mold construction and bodily injury cases, professional liability, premises liability and business litigation. Ms. Spencer earned her J.D. from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. During law school, she received honors for her trial advocacy skills, and was a member of the Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity and the Public Service Fund.
Ms. Spencer's path to a legal career also had some very interesting turns. Before becoming licensed to practice law, Ms. Spencer worked as a fine art consultant for a respected art gallery and publishing house in Beverly Hills. Today, she continues to be an active member of the Cultural Heritage Foundation of Southern California, and serves as a volunteer and docent with the Heritage Square Museum in Los Angeles.
"Dan and Serena are two well-rounded business attorneys," added John D. Klinedinst, CEO of Klinedinst PC. "Each brings their unique perspective to the practice of law. They are both top-caliber lawyers who will complement our expanding corporate litigation department. I look forward to working closely with both of them in our Los Angeles office."
