Groundbreaking Novel Explores Relationship Between Science and Faith

Juan Zanzeros' provocative novel, Darwin's Dove, is a love story that sets up a computer model of evolution.

San Juan, California (PRWeb) April 15, 2007 -- Newly released, Darwin's Dove: Faith Embraces Evolution by Juan Zanzeros is a novel of ideas that takes apart the raging controversy surrounding religion and reason.

What do people believe and why? Today, atheists battle religious fundamentalists over the meaning of life, but who is right? Author and research engineer Juan Zanzeros explores this tumultuous battleground of belief in his riveting novel, Darwin's Dove: Faith Embraces Evolution.

In the novel, a graduate student creates a computer simulation of evolution, but his search for truth thrusts him into a raging war on terror. As atheists, terrorists, the military and more try to bend his creation to their will, the young student, along with his beautiful and tough-minded girlfriend, fight for his ideas--and for their lives.

While the action offers an entertaining read, the underlying philosophy reforms the polarized debate over intelligent design, with a logical integration of evolution, Christianity, and Islam. Is evil a mathematical byproduct of the evolutionary search algorithm? Is Christ's doctrine of 'non-resistance to evil by force' a revealed solution to a mathematical problem, or a suicide pact? Can Leo Tolstoy be proven correct by a Darwinian computer simulation? Darwin's Dove brings more than the Pope bargained for when he asked for a dialog of faith and reason.
