The Renaissance M Street Hotel Opens Authentic European 'Caffè' in Downtown Washington, D.C.

The new illy Caffè at the Renaissance M Street Hotel opens April 15 and will feature locally-made Danish, croissants, assorted muffins, mixed green salads, fruit (whole and fresh cut) and a variety of sandwiches to M Street denizens and Renaissance hotel guests.

Washington, D.C. (PRWeb) April 15, 2007 -- The Renaissance M Street Hotel announces the opening of a new "Caffè" adjacent to the downtown Washington, D.C., hotel, which will serve authentic European coffee and light fare. "Caffè" literally translates to "coffee" in Italian and simultaneously conveys the Piazza-like atmosphere of a stylish Italian street side cafe.

The new illy Caffè location opens on April 15 and will feature locally-made Danish, croissants, assorted muffins, mixed green salads, fruit (whole and fresh cut) and a variety of sandwiches to M Street denizens and Renaissance hotel guests.

An ideal setting for downtown Washington D.C dining, Caffè is located on the corner of M Street and New Hampshire Avenue NW, acting as a welcome passageway between M Street and the "great room" lobby of the Renaissance M Street Hotel. Caffé customers can enjoy the warmth of Renaissance lobby for cozy, stylish seating. Piazza-like outdoor seating will be available from April-October.

illy Caffè, based in Trieste, Italy, produces a single premium blend of coffee that provides coffee connoisseurs with an authentic Italian experience. illy buys only 100% Arabica green coffee beans of the highest quality directly from growers around the world. The single-blend coffee is packaged in a proprietary system invented by illy Caffè, using an air-free pressurized tin to seal in freshness and create higher quality in the cup.
