SQL Farms, Inc. releases one-click SQL server configuration management solution for mid-size to very large environments and data centers: Synchronize server configuration between many SQL servers, push template configuration to new or existing servers, compare SQL server configuration between multiple servers and more.

Reston, VA (PRWeb) April 16, 2007 -- SQL Farms, Inc. announces a one-click end-to-end solution for managing and synchronizing SQL Server configuration across many SQL servers, for mid-size to very large environments and data centers. The new server configuration suite allows infrastructure personnel and database administrators to maintain a repository with a configuration template, push out the template configuration to new servers or to many existing servers in parallel, synchronize and update SQL server configurations across multiple servers at the same time, and compare configuration across all SQL servers in a single click. "After building the underlying technology for managing many databases and servers in parallel, deploying database projects and automating the life cycle of database releases in one click, we are now advancing to build applications that significantly reduce the time, costs and complexity of managing the data and server tiers of SQL environments and grids," said Tom Goff, Co-Founder and CTO of SQL Farms. "The server configuration solution is the first of many applications that we will be releasing in the near future" added Omri Bahat, director at SQL Farms, "We are privileged to have a customer base that directs us. Existing data management solutions are a lot more complex than they should and could be."

The SQL Server configuration management suite is available as a free add-on to SQL Farm Combine™ customers. Existing users and customers can download the configuration management solution at their usual download website. A free evaluation copy of SQL Farm Combine™ and the server configuration add-on is available at http://www.sqlfarms.com/evaluation.aspx.
