Internet Shock Jock Raunch Foxxx recently launched a Podcast featuring what he considers unflattering remarks from an African-American news anchor regarding the appearance of celebrity Brooke Shields. According to Raunch, the news anchor’s comments were particularly troubling considering the recent events surrounding radio personality Don Imus.
Normally, something like that would have been laughed off by myself, but with folks like Al Sharpton and being so outspoken, I think he has every one's antennae up regarding any type of condescending remarks whether they be racist or sexist or otherwise.

Phoenix, Ariz. (PRWEB) April 17, 2007 -- Internet Shock Jock Raunch Foxxx recently launched a Podcast featuring what he considers unflattering remarks from an African-American news anchor regarding the appearance of celebrity Brooke Shields. According to Raunch, the news anchor’s comments were particularly troubling considering the recent events surrounding radio personality Don Imus.

The Podcast can be found at the RAUNCH FOXXX FOXXXCAST at www.gcast.com/u/raunchfoxxx.

Foxxx says, "On the internet you can definitely say things that are pushing the envelope, but I was watching the evening news and heard a news anchor make condescending remarks regarding the appearance of Brooke Shields."

What Foxxx is referring to is a Sunday Night news broadcast where a local news anchor at Fox 10 told the story of Andre Agassi accidentally hitting Stephi Graf in the lip with his tennis racket. According to Raunch, the story was fine. However, they ran old footage of Agassi and showed Agassi holding hands with Brooke Shields.

Off camera you could hear the co-host saying it was the wrong video. The anchor, Linda Williams said, after saying it was Brooke Shields, "I guess that was Stephi after she got hit with the racket (apparently referring to Brooke Shields)."

Raunch Foxxx said, "Normally, something like that would have been laughed off by myself, but with folks like Al Sharpton and being so outspoken, I think he has every one's antennae up regarding any type of condescending remarks whether they be racist or sexist or otherwise."

You can hear the segment at www.gcast.com/u/raunchfoxxx or you can subscribe to his podcast. Raunch Foxxx has been in internet radio since 1999. He was a morning show shock jock on the then publicly traded Renegade Talk Radio and had guests like Yoko Ono, serial killers from death row, and a cast of others. He is known for a raw approach and "in your face" questions and also does spoofs and parodies on current news events. He is currently in the process of launching Global Mayhem Radio, which will be a compelling Internet Based Talk Station.

Raunch makes it clear, "I am not attacking any particular person regarding these types of remarks; however, Williams gave her own opinion of Shields' looks and that is against the grain of what we are trying to overcome while Don Imus has been judged and relieved of his duties at CBS after a long career. I was simply listening to the news and it just so happened she was the one who made the remark."

Raunch Foxxx states, "Listen to the segment for yourselves and make your own opinion. If you agree, call the FOX 10 affiliate in Arizona and let them know.”
