Video content producer creates unique video theater for climate change rally. Clips feature interviews with community members, early energy conservationists, and every day businesses and families concerned with climate change. Video clips are designed to be downloaded and shared, in order to stimulate discussion and research.

Medford, OR (PRWEB) April 19, 2007 -- Veracity Productions, Inc., a documentary film production company with an award-winning crew, today announced a new initiative designed to mobilize the "People Power" necessary to combat climate change and provide "video theater" content to stimulate community debate and discussion.

The company's first video theater production was created in conjunction with Step-it-Up 2007, a non-profit advocacy group, around a recent climate change rally held in Leavenworth, Washington. The Veracity Productions crew interviewed and documented actual community businesses and leaders who are deploying carbon-reduction strategies and energy-saving technologies right now.

By producing and making available an array of professionally produced interviews and clips on the Internet, we ensure that community organizers are equipped with great tools, relevant images, and real-world solution scenarios. Now, we intend to take the model nationwide.
"We wanted community members who participate in the conversations and planning sessions to have an easily-accessible library of video interviews and background to use in their own research," said Paul Steinbroner, founder and owner of Veracity Productions, Inc. and EnergyRush TV. "By producing and making available an array of professionally produced interviews and clips on the Internet, we ensure that community organizers are equipped with great tools, relevant images, and real-world solution scenarios. Now, we intend to take the model nationwide."

The goal of the "video theater" project, according to producers, is to instill in its audience a sense of where we've been, where we are, and where we can be with respect to transportation, energy efficiency, and the economy. Recent well-received documentary features make the problem of global warming and a need for change very obvious.

On April 14, 2007, Step it Up staged climate change rallies across the country, prompting a mountain of press coverage and internet activity. Featured on the front page of the New York Times, the organization promises that these events are just the beginning of long process.

"Stepitup2007.org field organizers are in communities now, helping to spread the word at the grass-roots level," said Steinbroner. "Shanda Holm, principal organizer of Stepitup's Leavenworth, Washington rally, told us that community members were downloading, viewing and emailing clips from the Veracity Productions 'video theater' to their friends and families. That's just where we want to be."

Veracity Productions, Inc. is dedicated to the producing high quality, well researched, timely and germane documentary content for multiple platforms, including: television broadcast, Internet Protocol broadcast, Web sites, and hand-held devices. The company can be reached by telephone at: 541-779-3361, or via fax at: 541-773-5905.
