Although the transport industry is not typically associated with romance, Haulage Exchange, the "online freight dating service for haulage and courier companies", has gained over 300 new members since the year began. The company is exhibiting at Britain's largest road transport event, The Commercial Vehicle Show 2007, looking to increase its membership further. With the exhibition attracting 29,000 visitors last year, the company will be using this as another opportunity to demonstrate first hand the unique "freight dating" services the company offersto haulage and courier companies and freelance owner drivers. Unique services include real-time haulage load matching and mobile data services. London, UK (PRWEB) April 21, 2007 -- Trucking companies are not typically associated with romance, but with Haulage Exchange's "online freight dating service" gaining more than 300 new members since the start of the year, this may be all about to change. Bunches of roses and candle-lit dinners will be left to one side, however, as the company is dedicated only to limiting dead-mileage: setting up freight companies and freelance drivers with more cargo loads to move on otherwise empty journeys. And with the annual Commercial Vehicle Show just around the corner once again, Haulage Exchange are happy to announce they will once again be on hand with an exhibition area already booked.

The trade show, held every year at the NEC Arena, Birmingham, is Britain's largest road transport event and perceived as an excellent opportunity for personalities representing all areas of the transport industry - from owner drivers to senior management figures - to meet with suppliers and discover the latest developments within the industry.

The importance of the event has not been lost on Haulage Exchange's Luke Humble, who sees the exhibition as an important date for the company's calendar: "We're very excited to have Haulage Exchange represented at the show for a second consecutive year. We're looking forward to meeting new clients, as well as showing existing ones how our freight exchange business has continued to expand over the last year."

"We have a few new initiatives to demonstrate that we are quite proud of. For example, this year has seen the launch of our 'Interactive Freight Search Map' which allows customers to clearly view and track their road haulage loads across the UK and Europe," he continued. "The response from our current freight clients has been great, so I hope visitors to the exhibition are equally impressed."

Haulage Exchange is currently one of the UK's leading independent online freight exchanges for the road transport industry and includes the membership of Haulage Companies, Freight Forwarding & 3PLs, Independent Owner-Drivers and Owner Operators. It offers its customers the opportunity to buy and sell domestic and international road transport services such as full loads, backloads, return loads, freight forwarding and road haulage. By ensuring the company is continually represented at Britain's largest road transport event, increased awareness of Haulage Exchange should guarantee the company's impressive growth continues unabated.

The Commercial Vehicle Show 2007, now in its seventh year, will be held in Birmingham's NEC Arena, halls 1 through 5, and will take place from Tuesday 24th to Thursday 26th April 2007. Entry to the event is free, and Haulage Exchange will be found in hall 5, stall 5016, for all 'romantic' truckers looking to be set up with more cargo.
