Celebrating the launch of his new CD, "On My Way To You", Daniel Lee Martin will perform at the Wildlife EXPO. Dedicated to strong habitat and wildlife conservation, Daniel Lee's performance will help raise on-the-ground funding for habitat work performed by the nations leading quail and upland game conservation organization, Quail Unlimted.

Edgefield, SC (PRWEB) April 21, 2007 -- "Finding a great connection to new entertainers, people who share our passion for conservation and the outdoors, is a huge benefit for any organization" states Rocky Evans, President of Quail Unlimited. "This country boy is an outdoorsman, a strong Christian and family man who likes to spend as much time in the woods and on the water, giving him the soul of country that emerges in his music. For us, it is a great connection, and they are few and far between, when we truly know an artist shares the same love of God, nature, conservation and the heritage of hunting and fishing as we do. Daniel Lee Martin has those qualities and more" emphasized Evans "we are very excited about his upcoming concert with us at this summer's EXPO".

"Daniel Lee Martin (Chin Music Records) is one to watch and I'll tell you why we think so" stated Craig Alderman, Director of Marketing for QU. "We talked at length recently, not all about music, though his successes from his Album "ALL THAT I AM" with singles like "I can't let Go" which made it to 42 of the top 100 in Country Music, and "Homespun Love" locking in the 52 spot, are getting up the charts in Country Music, or his new CD "On My Way To You" just released April 17th, but about wildlife" he explained.

"I grew up hunting dove and quail with my dad and have been lucky enough to get other places for deer, pheasant and other upland game because of the traveling you must do in earning your way in Country Music. For me it is not only the experience of the outdoors but getting the message out that we all must become good stewards of the land and water so our kids can enjoy the same thing" Daniel Lee said of his passion for the outdoors. "Making that kind of observation gains our respect and continued interest to get to know Daniel Lee a little more and his music. For us at least, as very big County Music fans, capturing your heart into your music is true talent, being able then to present it is a blessing" stated Alderman.

Daniel Lee Martin will be performing at the Heartland Wildlife EXPO hosted by QU for the Saturday Night Banquet, July 21st, at the Overland Park Convention Center, Overland Park, Kansas. Tickets will be available at the www.qu.org website, or at the door and include a great dinner with fellow hunters, conservationists and private land owners. Parking is free. QU, through its dedicated chapter members coast to coast, is leading the charge to restore the natural habitat of wild quail, working with private landowners as well as state and federal agencies across the country with unprecedented partnerships. By putting on local events and fundraisers, QU chapters raise conservation dollars that are then used for on the ground projects in their area.

Also look for Daniel Lee's new TV show on The Sportsman Channel, "Backstage and Backroads" dedicated to our hunting and outdoor heritage. "This show is really what my life is all about. It's about working hard and playing hard…and finding the right balance to enjoy both," said Martin. We could not agree more.

Quail Unlimited (QU) is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to the restoration of habitat for wild quail. Its almost 300 chapters nationwide raise local project dollars for on-the-ground projects, including private and public land management with banquets, auctions, sporting clay events and more. QU has a highly trained staff of biologists, state and regional directors and dedicated members that work with private landowners and state and federal agencies to restore quail populations. In 2005, Quail Unlimited chapters and partners invested over $2.2 million dollars in quail habitat improvements.
