Creating a positive family atmosphere
"Nearly every day, people living with hemophilia are faced with unique challenges," said Terry Tenbrunsel, Vice President, Sales and Marketing. "Bayer HealthCare has created Living with Hemophilia to provide solutions, insight and expert advice in an easy to understand, interactive way." Participants at the local discussion groups and visitors to the online magazine will be encouraged to share their experiences and insights with others.

The new online magazine, LivingWithHemophilia.com, contains four main categories: Essentials, At Home, On the Go and Transitions. Each category includes brief articles, quick tips and checklists for managing life with hemophilia. From "Organizing your treatment supplies" to "Creating a positive family atmosphere," there's something to help everyone. The site also will contain updates from experts, online polls and a special section for health care providers called, "Hemophilia University" which will include continuing education (CE) programming. The first CE module available for registered nurses is called, 'Challenges in Hemophilia: Orthopedic Procedures.'
