Business North Carolina Rates Sea Trail's Jones Course One of Best Along North Carolina's Coast

Jones And Maples Ranked Among State's Top 100.

Sunset Beach, NC (PRWEB) April 26, 2007 -- The Jones course at Sea Trail Golf Resort & Convention Center, located in Sunset Beach, N.C., was named one of the top ten courses along the North Carolina coast by the North Carolina Golf Panel. The Panel's rankings were reported in the April issue of Business North Carolina magazine in a special section spotlighting the state's 100 best courses. Sea Trail's Maples course was also included among the top 100.

"North Carolina has nearly 600 golf courses, so it is quite an honor for us to have our Jones and Maples courses listed among the top 100," said Tom Plankers, president of golf at Sea Trail Resort & Convention Center. "We are especially pleased to have the Jones course recognized as one of the top 10 courses on the North Carolina coast. Our goal at Sea Trail is to deliver a top-notch golf experience. To have two courses ranked among the top 100 by a prestigious group like the Panel is a clear signal that we are achieving that goal."

The North Carolina Golf Panel, founded in 1995, currently consists of 138 members. Members range from club pros and course designers to sportswriters and corporate CEOs. Each year the panel compiles rankings based on the courses they have played.
