Every day new posts are being added to thousands of blogs but finding easy ways to update search engines can be a challenge for bloggers while providing the latest updates and continues to be a growing problem for aggregators. Finally, a revamped site -- now under new ownership -- stands to simplify things for both bloggers and aggregators.

Tel Aviv, Israel (PRWEB) April 26, 2007 -- Every day new posts are being added to thousands of blogs but finding easy ways to update search engines can be a challenge for bloggers while providing the latest updates continues to be a growing problem for aggregators. Finally, a revamped site -- now under new ownership -- stands to simplify things for both bloggers and aggregators.

The site, King Ping, King Ping, prides itself on being a central location for all blog ping needs. Bloggers can go to the site, enter the URL of the blog, then update all of the web sites and podcast services available with a single click of the mouse. The service includes some of the top ping services, such as MyYahoo.com, Google, and more than a dozen others. That means bloggers will easily be able to alert a large audience of their most recent postings. Plus, the service is completely free and bloggers can save their settings to make future updates even faster.

Every company that wishes to stay updated about blog changes can register their ping service with King Ping, and thus stay updated in real time with changes in the blogosphere. We only require that new ping services will comply with our anti spam policy in order to help us maintain the quality of blogs using our service and web services we ping.
What really sets King Ping apart, however, is it doesn't just provide a service for bloggers. Aggregators and small search engines can also make their lives easier thanks to the new site. Here's why: most aggregators have to check blog updates listed on their indexes manually which is time consuming and usually causes them to miss fresh updates. With King Ping, aggregators can gain instant access to notifications about blog updates. This is the first time such a service has been offered. According to Dudu Mimran, Aggreg CEO and King Ping site operator, "Every company that wishes to stay updated about blog changes can register their ping service with King Ping, and thus stay updated in real time with changes in the blogosphere. We only require that new ping services will comply with our anti spam policy in order to help us maintain the quality of blogs using our service and web services we ping."

King Ping was originally owned and co-developed by Fredrick Giasson, a Canadian computer scientist. Recently, the site was acquire by Aggreg Ltd., a web holding company operating a half dozen other sites, including Strategicboard which is the first spam free blog search engine. As part of their acquisition, it has undergone a complete face lift and is now ready to re-launch.
