New York, NY (PRWEB) April 26, 2007 -- Clear Indexes LLC announced the launch of the Clear Mid Cap Growth Index, which is licensed as an ETF, which is expected to commence trading today on the American Stock Exchange (AMEX: MCG).
The second in a series of Clear Indexes to be licensed to Claymore Advisors, the Clear Mid Cap Growth Index (CLRMCG) is a new breed of index that gives investors access to investments that were recently only available to institutional investors. Blurring the line between active and passive index design, the Clear Mid Cap Growth Index uses a multifactor model to concentrate the index to 50 top ranked stocks and rebalances the index quarterly.

The Clear Mid Cap Growth Index is the creation of Clear Indexes LLC, http://www.ClearIndexes.com, a wholly-owned subsidiary of asset management firm Clear Asset Management, http://www.ClearAM.com. Clear Indexes LLC was established to develop custom indexes for investment product design and custom institutional benchmarks.

The Clear Mid Cap Growth Index is comprised of 50 top-ranked companies that are listed on major US exchanges; have market capitalizations ranging from $2 to $10 billion and exhibit growth company characteristics.
The indices are constructed and rebalanced using Clear’s multifactor models and leverage algorithms originally developed for Clear Asset Management’s actively-managed growth portfolios.
Clear Indexes in November 2006 introduced the Clear Spin-Off Index, which was licensed to Claymore Securities for an ETF and trades under the symbol (AMEX:CSD).
