Internet Start-Up Solves Common Business Problem

Affirm Software launches Contract Connect, which allows users to store and share documents online. Documents are accessible any time from any location on the internet.

(PRWEB) April 26, 2007 -- Affirm Software has launched a new service, Contract Connect, which allows customers to store and share documents online so they are accessible by multiple parties from any location, any time, on the internet.

Contract Connect (www.contractconnect.com) solves a problem that every business in every industry has -- how to store and share documents in a reliable and secure manner. Traditional contract management software has provided a partial solution, but has not delivered an end-to-end service for customers.

Our product minimizes risk, saves time, increases productivity and gives smaller businesses a ‘big company’ infrastructure
The Contract Connect site closes a significant gap in this market by helping customers manage the entire document lifecycle; from the first word typed to the final signed copy saved.

Using Contract Connect customers can upload their original document or documents, share it easily with selected colleagues or external parties (using password-protected access online), print out copies as required, then fax signed or marked-up copies back into the system. Contract Connect electronically scans and saves the faxed contract securely.

Security is paramount to the system. Contract Connect has fully encrypted communications, secure data centers and stringently tested system design.

Contract Connect keeps online document storage simple and affordable for small business. It is a ‘software-as-a-service’ solution, hosted by Affirm Software so the customer can sign up and start online immediately. All that is required is a web browser. There are no servers to purchase, no software to install and no hefty up-front charges. Customers pay a small fee per document.

From finance brokers, to realtors, to lawyers -- the need for a complete document management system is evident, especially in a world moving towards paperless processes and systems that are more efficient.

“The process of typing, sending, printing and filing documents is labor intensive. Business owners can attest to the risk, time and cost associated with repeatedly handling contracts between parties and replacing lost documents,” said Jeff Bonnes, co-founder.

“Our product minimizes risk, saves time, increases productivity and gives smaller businesses a ‘big company’ infrastructure,” according to Bonnes.

Contract Connect is the result of collaboration between Affirm Software co-founders Richard Power and Jeff Bonnes. Richard Power brings extensive industry expertise, after building an Australasian finance company, Focus Capital Group. After 20 years in the business, Power knows the importance of secure, accurate systems to track contract information. Jeff Bonnes brings his IT and business skills to the partnership after working with Power at Focus Capital. Bonnes specializes in Internet solutions to help business work more effectively with their staff and partners.

Contract Connect launches on April 20, 2007. For further information and a free trial visit http://www.contractconnect.com
