Skybus is the Next Generation of Low-Fare Carriers

Air Transport Business Development, Inc. (ATBD) announces its role as advisor to Skybus Airlines, Columbus, Ohio in the selection, negotiation and acquisition of its Airbus A319 fleet. Skybus has sixty-five firmly ordered Airbus A319s and a further ten A319's via operating leases to support it's entry into revenue operations in May 2007.

Santa Monica, CA (PRWEB) April 28, 2007 -- Air Transport Business Development, Inc. (ATBD) is pleased to announce its role as advisor to Skybus Airlines, Columbus, Ohio in the selection, negotiation and acquisition of its Airbus A319 fleet and support contracts since December 2005.

Skybus has sixty-five firmly ordered Airbus A319s and a further ten A319's via operating leases to support its entry into revenue operations in May 2007. ATBD advised Skybus on acquisition and support contracts from Airbus, General Electric, CFM, Thales, Rockwell Collins, Honeywell, Goodyear, Bucher and Recaro. Aircraft operating lease contracts have included, ILFC, Skyservice and Virgin America.

Skybus is the next generation of low-fare carriers, based in Columbus, Ohio, flying new, fuel efficient Airbus A319 jets. "ATBD's extensive experience in aircraft and equipment evaluation and selection was invaluable to Skybus," said Skybus President Ken Gile.

Skybus is the next generation of low-fare airlines. It will begin service May 22 from its base in Columbus, Ohio, to the Los Angeles, San Francisco Bay, Seattle/Vancouver, Kansas City, Boston, Ft. Lauderdale, Richmond and Greeensboro, NC markets. Skybus offers "outrageously" low fares, with at least 10 seats at $10 on every flight, every day.
