Digital Media Applications Releases Rocket DVD-On-Demand - Application Driven Automated DVD Production Software at the NAB 2007 Convention
LYNWOOD, WA (PRWEB) April 16, 2007 -- Digital Media Applications, a leading developer of dvd authoring and production software for media professionals, today announced the immediate availability of Rocket DVD-On-Demand, an advanced option for the versatile RocketDVD Professional software. The product will be showcased at the National Association of Broadcasters 2007 convention at booth # 7726 Lower Level South Hall.
ROCKETDVD Professional combines real-time DVD production from an interface driven application, enabling end users to instantly create custom DVDs.
DVD-On-Demand is a unique option for RocketDVD Professional that can fully automate the entire DVD production process- from clip/ media asset selection, duplication, and packaging. It can be controlled from a second application such as a Website, Database or Asset Managment system. DVD-On-Demand eliminates the manual process of DVD Authoring by allowing employees, consumers, and end users to order on demand, video assets that are digitized on a central server and delivered to them as a complete DVD.
"We are excited to announce the release of DVD-On-Demand for the general market. Previously it was a custom application," said Dave Bernhardsen, CEO of Digital Media Application. "It is a powerful automated tool designed for companies who want to eliminate the manual production process of DVD delivery."
Easy Production Polling
By placing a text file with project parameters in a pre-defined hot folder, DVD-On-Demand will automatically poll the hot folder looking for project files to execute, immediately process the project and send the DVD to the output device selected in the project file. This includes creating a new menu, disc label and custom casewrap for the DVD project. You no longer have to keep DVDs in inventory. With DVD-On-Demand you can create a just-in-time DVD production process while adding the ability for your customers to custom select the video components or assets they want on the DVD.
Current Uses
Major Cruise Lines are using a system where potential vacationers can view their travel website of exotic locales and cruise packages. From a web interface, DVD-On-Demand enables the Cruise Line to create a customized DVD which is then immediately sent to the prospective customer.
