A great photo is key to helping shelter animals find homes
(PRWEB) May 2, 2007 -- Brigitte Nadeau is a professional dog photographer and mixed media dog art creator. In the last few weeks she has been busy doing free photo session for a local animal shelter, hoping it will help the current residents find good forever homes.
A man visited Jethro the dog because he fell in love with those big eyes he saw in the newspaper. Gazpacho, a male cat, was adopted after the new owner saw in her words, "a stunning" picture of him on the website.
"A great photo is key to helping shelter animals find homes. Brigitte's photos of our animals have brought us a lot of adopters who told us that they just fell in love with the pet's face in the paper or online," says Brianne Nichols, a Frontier Animal Society volunteer.
Brigitte from www.LaPuparazzi.com says that she was inspired by a documentary on photographers who donated their time to create sensible and emotional pictures of children that were up for adoptions in order to help the process. "I figured it should work for dogs also." Once at the shelter she could not forget the cats, so she also did sessions with the cats. The results have been unbelievable.
"This is one of the best feelings, to know that your work and creativity were able to give a forever home to a shelter animal," says Brigitte.
