Mednet System's E-Prescribing Application Diminishes Hours Spent On Paper Scripts For Nardone Medical Associates Of Rhode Island

Dr. Ahmad Al Raqqad upgrades to e-Prescribing to increase his office efficiency and eliminate the hassles associated with paper scripts.

Pawtucket, RI, Webster, MA (PRWEB) May 17, 2007 -- Internal medicine specialist and founder of Nardone Medical Associates, Dr. Ahmad Al Raqqad, recently made the decision to eliminate the time and frustrations associated with paper prescriptions by switching to Mednet System 's e-Prescribing Application for use in his office. Dr. Raqqad went live with e-Prescribing in January of 2007 and in under 3 months of using the system the many benefits of it have already been noted in his office.

According to Dr. Raqqad: "The amount of time and aggravation saved using e-Prescribing is phenomenal. I no longer have to skim through patient charts to find their prescription history and drug allergy information. e-Prescribing eliminates many of the time consuming steps that are a necessity when using paper prescriptions. e-Prescribing is just as beneficial to my staff and my patients as it is to me. With e-Prescribing I can print out the patient drug precautions and information and review it with my patients before they leave the office, addressing any questions or concerns they may have. It is a wise investment for any medical office."

"Now we are in the process to start using the entire EMR for our office," Dr. Raqqad further added.

Nancy Latendresse, Office Manager for Nardone Medical Associates, had the following to say about her experience thus far with e-Prescribing in the office, "I have already noticed a tremendous difference in the office with e-Prescribing. Patient refill requests are much simpler to keep track of and multiple requests can be filled with just the click of a button. This reduces multiple calls to the office regarding a refill request that might not have been processed on the same day. The amount of time spent on pharmacy phone calls is almost non existent with e-Prescribing. The tedious daily tasks needed for paper prescriptions are eliminated and I have more time in my day to take care of other pertinent tasks."

"This is one more client using Mednet's e-Prescribing Application that realized the benefits of using our software almost immediately. This success story goes to show that we are meeting our goals and keeping our promise to offer high quality yet economical solutions for any sized medical office, and helping to secure our spot as a top contender among our competitors," said Niraj Jetly, CEO, Mednet System.
