E-Spec, Inc Unveils Image Exchange v1.1 at Spesa Material World, Allowing Users to Automatically Convert Adobe® Illustrator® Files To JPG or GIF

Dallas-based E-Spec, Inc. used their visibility at SPESA to announce the launch of their latest product, Image Exchange v1.1. This Windows-based server side application automatically converts Adobe® Illustrator® images to JPG or GIF format.

Dallas, Texas (PRWEB) May 8, 2007 –- Dallas-based E-Spec, Inc. used their visibility at SPESA to announce the launch of their latest product, Image Exchange v1.1. This Windows-based server side application automatically converts Adobe® Illustrator® images to JPG or GIF format.

Image Exchange v1.1, a Windows-based server side application, allows a watched folder location to be created on the network where users can save or drop Illustrator® files to automatically produce a JPG or GIF copy of the file in the same location, alternate location, or FTP site. It is not necessary for the user to have the Adobe® Illustrator® software on their computer in order to execute this function.

In many industries, websites and business applications require small representative versions of artwork and graphics. In fast paced environments, such as fashion, advertising and publishing, keeping these representations up to date with the original files can be burden on the artists. Automating this process ensures accuracy as well as freeing up the artist to concentrate on their creative tasks.

This software currently works with Illustrator® images to make either JPG or GIF files. Future product release versions are expected to include additional input and output file format options. This program enables a variety of users to utilize the same files in a number of capacities without requiring each one to master the use of Illustrator® or keep going back to the art department for various outputs. This plug-in automatically generates JPEG files every time an Adobe® Illustrator® file is created or edited in one or more specified locations. This plug-in includes a layer separation option which allows the user to separate multi-layered AI files into separate JPG files for each layer.
