On May 25 2007, Harry Goodwin's exhibition of over one hundred images will grace the walls in various parts of the airport. The exhibition includes images of The Beatles and will be officially opened by guest of honour Yoko Ono. The event has been timed to coincide with John Lennon Airport's inaugural transatlantic scheduled service to New York's JFK Airport.
Liverpool, England (PRWEB) May 15, 2007 -- Visitors passing through the airport will have the pleasure of viewing the many photographs situated airside, beyond security control, as they depart Liverpool.
This retrospective collection of Goodwin's photographs is drawn from a selection of his extensive archive. The exhibit will feature icons of the fabulous ROCK AND ROLL era of the 60's and 70's as well as sporting superstars and celebrities associated with North West England. During his nine-year tenure at BBC's 'TOP OF THE POPS', legendary photographer Harry Goodwin captured an amazing array of rock stars in stills when he was the resident photographer at the television's weekly show.
On the opening afternoon of May 25, 2007, the invited guests will see the selections from Harry Goodwin's photograph collection for the first time at this new location. Press and TV media will be in attendance and cover the event on that afternoon.
