Jamaica-Weddings.com Announces New Honeymoon Activities in Jamaica

Jamaican-Weddings.com, a leading online source for Jamaican wedding packages, announces new things to do for brides and grooms on Jamaican honeymoons.

Salt Lake City, UT (PRWEB) May 24, 2007 -- Jamaican-Weddings.com, an online source for wedding packages in Negril, Jamaica, is announcing new honeymoon activities for their brides and grooms. Some of the new honeymoon activities include visiting the Rocklands Bird Sanctuary, manatees-alligator hole and Jamaican Defense Force training center, and taking horse and buggy rides.

Some of the more traditional Jamaican honeymoon activities include open-air craft markets, tennis and volleyball courts, scuba-diving, snorkeling and other water sports. These are still available for brides and grooms who purchase wedding packages from Jamaican-Weddings.com, of course. Vacation planners are making some more unusual suggestions for Jamaican honeymoons, though.

The Rocklands Bird Sanctuary is an excellent place for honeymooners to visit, where they can see three species of hummingbirds, thrushes, owls, woodpeckers and other birds. The Alligator Hole on the South Coast of Jamaica is a bit more adventurous. Visiting this spot takes honeymooners on a canoe ride to see the three manatees that still live there in the crystal clear river water. There are also rumors of an alligator in the waters, so snorkelers beware.

Honeymooners who travel east of Kingston can visit Newcastle for a more inspiring honeymoon activity. This is the training center for the Jamaica Defense Force, and couples who call ahead will be given a tour and see some of the defense force training in action. Horse and buggy rides, on the other hand, are a bit more relaxing.

Jamaica-Weddings.com provides Jamaican wedding packages, including the ceremonies, paperwork, flowers, cake, champagne and food in Negril, Jamaica. The seven mile-long stretch of pure white Jamaican sand is peppered with resorts and peaceful hotels hidden among the palms. Romantic sunsets are one of the main attractions in Negril, as well as translucent turquoise water that is free of rocks and seaweed, and is protected by a number of reefs.
