DecisionOne today announced the appointment of Mike Greenough as the new Chairman of the technology support services firm's Board of Directors, effective immediately.
Devon, PA (Vocus) May 11, 2007 -- DecisionOne today announced the appointment of Mike Greenough as the new Chairman of the technology support services firm's Board of Directors, effective immediately.
Mr. Greenough is a recognized and experienced leader in transforming technology organizations and building corporate value. He recently served as President, Chairman, and Chief Executive Officer of SSA Global Technologies, Inc., a global enterprise software company. When he assumed leadership of SSA Global in May 2001, he launched an aggressive strategy to transform the company. Under his leadership, SSA Global increased its customer base through mergers, acquisitions, and organic growth to approximately 10,000 active customers, and significantly increased its product and service offerings. Greenough led the effort to bring SSA Global public in 2005, completing the company's transformation. In July of 2006 SSA was sold to a strategic competitor and realized a $1.4 billion profit for its original shareholders. Prior to SSA Global, Greenough spent four years as Chief Operating Officer of Constellation Software, Inc., a vertical market application software company with annual revenues of more than $150 million. From 1990 to 1998, Greenough was general manager of Geac Commercial Systems, a sizable part of a combined billion-dollar supplier of software to multiple vertical markets.
