Profile Precision Extrusions Installs new Extrusion Press, Expanding the Circle Size for Precision Extruded Aluminum Tubing & Custom Aluminum Extrusions by Over 100%

Now Profile Precision Extrusions is introducing their innovative technology to bring machine tolerances to large aluminum extruded shape and extruded aluminum tubing.
Historically, only the very smallest extrusion presses could hold dimensional tolerances to as little as .001" on precision extrusion orders. These small presses typically can only make parts that fit inside a 3.50" diameter circle. Profile has expanded the circle size for precision extruded aluminum tubing and aluminum extruded shapes by over 100%. Profile also offers custom aluminum fabrication services such as CNC machining, anodizing, drilling & tapping, and cutting-to-length.
"We know there are manufacturers out there who need custom aluminum extrusion solutions for larger shapes. We see extruded aluminum tubing and shape designs from them every week. Up until now we've had to refer them to commercial extruders who can not provide the precision they need. The new 5 1/8", 700 ton press was installed during March and April of 2007. Profile will have the capability to run 3.5", 4.5", and 5.125" containers on 2 extrusion presses.
