Vancouver BC (HRMarketer/PRWeb) June 13, 2007 -- Talent Technology Corporation, an award-winning provider of recruitment technology, today announced the latest release of its HireDesk Staffing and HireDesk Corporate edition products. These next generation products include a number of new capabilities and customer driven enhancements that deliver increased recruiter productivity along with advanced reporting options, enhanced usability and configurability, and faster implementations.

New key capabilities in this release includes a new ad-hoc reporting option for improved, real-time visibility into business operations; automated resume extraction that improves the candidate experience and recruiter productivity; and support for multiple workflows that meet the needs of firms engaged in multiple types of recruiting. The release also provides broad support for Microsoft® Windows Vista® and Microsoft® Office 2007®.

By providing support for multiple recruiting workflows we are offering the first applicant tracking system that integrates and support multiple types of recruiting into one system.

Significant new HireDesk features include:

  • Ad-Hoc Reporting - The new Ad-Hoc Reporting capability allows users to create reports using virtually any type of information contained within the HireDesk system. A wizard driven reporting tool enables users to quickly design, build and save reports that deliver information and visibility into almost any element of their operation. The HireDesk system delivers the most flexible, powerful and user friendly reporting capability in the industry.
  • Resume Mirror Extraction Technology – Resume Mirror Extraction automatically captures resume data thus eliminating manual data entry for both candidates and recruiters. This improves the online application experience for job seekers, improves response management with candidates, reduces recruiter workloads and cuts outsourced hardcopy resume and application processing costs.
  • Outlook Email Tool - A new Microsoft Outlook tool has been added which allows resumes received via Outlook email to be instantly processed and the extracted resume data automatically entered into the HireDesk system. This significantly improves recruiter productivity when handling emailed resumes.
  • Multiple Workflows – The multiple workflows feature provides recruitment firms handling multiple types of recruiting such as contingency search, contract and hourly placement and retained/executive search, with the ability to support all recruiting workflows through one common on-demand recruiting system. This feature allows disparate lines of the business to leverage shared resources and contacts as it captures new business opportunities.
