"Burke's Law" author, Paul Burke, the 51-year-old natural bodybuilder, has released his groundbreaking book and DVD as one package. The impetus for this, according to Burke, is to ensure everyone understands his training theories and can do so by reading his book and watching him train in "Burke's Law" fashion in his new DVD. The package also gives consumers a 20-30 percent discount because they are not buying each item separately; and, Burke says there is more room for that discount because of his ownership of both properties outright, at this point.
Spencer, MA (PRWEB) June 20, 2007 -- Author, bodybuilder and "Iron Man" columnist Paul Burke has released his book, "Burke's Law" (Trafford; 2006) and his Training DVD as one complete package at a huge savings to consumers.
Burke, who has had great success with his groundbreaking book, "Burke's Law", says that a few consumers commented that they would like a visual aid after reading his book. Burke, who is a solid 245 pounds at 6'1", works out in his new Training DVD at an astonishing rate, with quite a bit of weight being pushed and pulled for a natural 51-year-old male.
To complete the series, Burke and his Publishing people at (Trafford) decided to sell the book and the DVD together for both trainers and consumer benefits.
According to Burke, he could only discount the book so much because of the way that Trafford works as a "print-on-demand" system; however, he has total control over the DVD and therefore he is able to give a big discount for all those who wanted the book and DVD as one package.
Burke, who contends that anyone who trains with weights more than three or four times in eight days and they are natural, are really training too much, and thus he says that no one who is natural can recover after training more often than every other day (at the most). He also contends that men over 40 should train less, but with more intensity. His method is difficult to master, but the results are amazing. Burke is really the first person in weight training's long history to quantify how to create, what he calls, "Maximum Muscular Stimulation".
"I started training this way many years ago," says the massively muscular Burke, "and I kept tweaking the method until I got, not only great results with my body, but with each body in the past 10 years that I have worked with. I have to say this though," Burke says seriously, "you have to want it, and you have to want it as if your life depends on it -- and in some ways it does." "Each time that you train," Burke contends, "you must outperform your last training session with any given body-part in order to make gains all the time."
Burke is also quick to point out that the more muscle mass that you carry, the faster your metabolism will be, and the younger you will remain. According to Burke, muscle mass loss is a "Biological Marker of Aging", and it should be looked upon, by all, as just as important as glucose intolerance, or any of the other Biological Markers. "You can't say that diabetes is worse than muscle mass loss," says the author and hulking bodybuilder "because each are an indication that you are aging too rapidly for optimal health and longevity."
According to the Master, Burke, if you read this book and watch the DVD (now inserted into the book for quick comparisons between written word, the reader's interpretation and actual reality); then you will have all the knowledge that you need to live a long, healthy and muscular life.
"I plan to lift weights until the day that I die," says the incredibly young looking Burke. "And, if you think that it is easier for me to train hard and stay muscularly heavy and metabolically fit, you are mistaken; I live with Multiple Sclerosis and that is not an easy life, but I chose to train as hard as I can because I love it, and I love the feeling that it gives me," Burke concludes. "I am as enthusiastic about weight training today, as I was in 1968, when I bought my first weight set," says Burke with pure nostalgia. "It just so happens that I love the very difficult work that keeps me as healthy as possible; I consider myself lucky and help many with the disease whenever I can," Burke concludes.
"People often say that I am an inspiration, and I take that as a challenge to be the greatest 50-plus natural bodybuilder alive," Burke says laughingly. "I know there are a few men my age out there who are better than I am, but I never let that stop me from trying to be the best. I have always tried to be the best."
Now that is an amazing story, and you can purchase all his wisdom in print and on a visual DVD for less than $50.00. Where else can you learn from a master, living with a normally crippling disease, who has made it his life-long ambition to be the best?
