HDI Invites Help Desk & Support Industry Participation in 2007 HDI Practices and Salary Survey

HDI®, the world's largest membership association for help desk, IT service and support professionals and the premier certification body today issued a call for participation in the 2007 HDI Practices and Salary Survey. The survey questionnaire is available online on HDI's website, http://www.thinkhdi.com/takethesurvey2007. The deadline for participation is August 17, 2007. All participants will receive a copy of the 2007 HDI Practices and Salary Survey report.

Colorado Springs, CO (PRWEB) June 28, 2007 -- HDI® (http://www.thinkhdi.com), the world's largest membership association for help desk, IT service and support professionals and the premier certification body today issued a call for participation in the 2007 HDI Practices and Salary Survey (http://www.thinkhdi.com/publications/industryReports/practicesSurvey.aspx).

HDI's annual Practices Survey is the definitive resource for trending and statistical information for help desk and support center managers, as well as for the vendors who serve the support community. HDI's annual Salary Survey takes an in-depth look at the compensation of support personnel. The survey's findings allow help desk managers and IT service and support professionals to benchmark their centers' performance metrics, processes and organizational maturity in relationship to the industry as a whole. In 2006, HDI collected and reported on survey data from 1,141 respondents. HDI's report archives date back to 1998.
