Ideas for Alberta Vacations include Touring Boomtown Trail & Farmer's Markets.

Alberta, Canada (PRWEB) June 5, 2007 -- Some vacationers choose to go to the city and some choose to go to the country. Others want both, and two new articles by Travel Alberta detail themed ways to enjoy the province, offering up perfect information for the diverse Alberta vacation. The articles -- included in Travel Alberta's new monthly e-Bulletin -- feature a tour of the Boomtown Trail and an exploration of Farmer's Markets, both excursions that give visitors a taste of the urban and the rural in Alberta.

The Boomtown Trail article details a music and theater tour along the highway that traverses the space between Calgary, international gateway city to the Canadian Rockies, and Edmonton, international gateway city to the North. Each city is known for its summertime folk, music, and theater festivals, and in between them a series of rural, historic towns also offer up a surprising array of activities--from Camrose's Big Valley Jamboree, which serves as Canada's biggest country music extravaganza, to the popular Rosebud dinner theatre in Rosebud, Alberta. According to the article, Alberta visitors who enjoy cultural endeavors should make a point of visiting both cities--and everything in between.

For culinary Alberta adventures, Travel Alberta's article, entitled "Tasty Gateways to Culture," features some of the over 100 farmer's markets in the province that reflect regional culture. Summer Alberta vacations can easily incorporate both urban and rural farmer's markets -- from Lethbridge and Medicine Hat to the Calgary Farmers' Market and Edmonton's City Market. The article suggests resources for finding the markets and the benefits of taking the time to visit them, including the tasty treats, gift shopping, and a fresh way of exploring Alberta's people.

Travel Alberta's e-Bulletin includes six, publication-ready articles each month spanning popular travel themes. Articles are available to both media outlets and travel planners. Most recently, topics about Alberta travel have included fishing, ranches, driving tours, golf, Hollywood/movie making, and birding in the province's parks.

Word document reprints of the 800- to 1000-word articles are available at no cost. Travel Alberta also offers electronic and printed media information, images in several formats, vacation guides, Betacam SP and VHS footage (also available in PAL format). Whether for travelers planning Alberta vacations or media outlets looking to feature relevant travel topics about the province, Travel Alberta's e-bulletin articles are an innovative travel resource.
