For a standard of comparison, calcium absorption of AlgaeCal was tested against one of the leading brands of calcium carbonate and different foods that are known to be a good source of calcium.
AlgaeCal demonstrated higher calcium absorption (75%) than the competition's calcium carbonate (69%) and all of the calcium rich foods that were tested.
