The California Institute of Technology Industrial Relations Center is launching an online community that will allow attendees of its 3-day Marketing Technology Products course to continue sharing the concepts, tools and methodologies they learn and implement in their companies. The Technology Marketing Center (TMC) web site content includes case studies, blogs and live executive interviews by technology marketing corporate executives and practitioners.

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) July 11, 2007 -- The Caltech Industrial Relations Center (IRC) today announced the launch of the Technology Marketing Center (TMC). TMC is an independent online community of technology executives sharing real world experiences in developing product and market strategy.

TMC content is provided by some of the over 3000 executive participants in IRC's Strategic Marketing of Technology Products course. Case studies, blogs, and live executive interviews are accessible to anyone interested in leading cross-functional strategy development in high tech companies.

We felt that our Strategic Marketing of Technology Products course was a good choice to experiment in a new kind of online executive education using student-generated content, and we plan to include additional technology marketing course content in the future,
"TMC's participant-contributors are actively leading their organizations to establish common vocabulary and tools for cross-functional strategy development," said Chris Halliwell, IRC course instructor and TMC director. "TMC is a place to reflect on product and market strategy development, and to learn from other technology professionals."

"We felt that our Strategic Marketing of Technology Products course was a good choice to experiment in a new kind of online executive education using student-generated content, and we plan to include additional technology marketing course content in the future, " said Nick Nichols, Caltech IRC's executive director.

The California Institute of Technology stands for world leadership in teaching, research, and technological innovation. The Caltech Industrial Relations Center provides outstanding educational programs to solve the business needs of technology-based companies.
