Identity Cops Inc., developers of Privacy ProBot® data theft intercession technology, announced today that it has retained the investment bank Strategic Financial Group, LLC to develop strategic partnerships to bring its technology to market.

Woburn, MA (PRWEB) July 14, 2007 -- Identity Cops Inc., developers of Privacy ProBot® data theft intercession technology, announced today that it has retained the investment bank Strategic Financial Group, LLC to develop strategic partnerships to bring its technology to market.

The Privacy ProBot® technology is designed to prevent further TJX-type Personally Identifiable Information (PII) loss and damage.

"This is a critically important technology that anticipates the standards to be set by pending federal legislation," said Robert Esecson, Senior Managing Director of Strategic Financial Group LLC. "Our due diligence revealed that this early warning system can substantially reduce the $56 billion annual cost of identity theft in the US by blocking stolen bulk and individual PII use, even before the alarms are triggered inside the corporations firewall or at a credit bureau."

"We're delighted to have a firm of Strategic Financial Group's caliber and expertise helping us to bring this to market," said Rebecca Weinstein, President of Identity Cops Inc. "Privacy ProBot® was built in response to the theft of the identity of Jerry Orbach, late star of the NBC hit series "Law & Order" and a good friend of our CTO, the inventor of Privacy ProBot®. I think Jerry would be very pleased with the steps we are now taking to protect others."
