Elanex Introduces Real-Time Localization

Elanex, Inc. today announces the introduction of its Real-Time Localization™ methodology, a revolutionary new way to improve translation ROI.

San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) July 19, 2007 -- Elanex, Inc. today announces the introduction of a new methodology for translation project management, relying heavily on use of Elanex translation technologies, which leads to dramatically increased translation ROI.

Traditional localization of products and supporting documentation (user manuals, help, data sheets, marketing materials) typically begins once source language material is finalized. Usually this is around the time that the source language product is released, since changes are made to the source language material right up until the last minute. As a result release of the localized materials is delayed by weeks or even months, resulting in lost sales opportunities. Additionally the publicity of the foreign language release has to be handled separately from the source language release, which is more costly and has less impact. Traditional localization therefore costs companies significantly both in extra direct cost and lost sales revenue.

The Real-Time Localization methodology is a major step forward both for Elanex and our clients
Elanex technology enables a whole new approach to localization: creation of localized materials is done in parallel with creation of source language materials. As a result localized versions can be released at the same time as source language versions, enabling weeks or months of additional sales, more effective simultaneous marketing, and better coordination of internal efforts. Since the bulk of the complexity of real-time localization is handled by Elanex technology, the methodology adds relatively little incremental cost to the localization process. The incremental effort required for the client's team is also minimal. Given the potential benefits, the ROI on the incremental cost can be tremendous.

"The Real-Time Localization methodology is a major step forward both for Elanex and our clients," said Jonathan Kirk, Elanex CEO and founder. "We are very excited about the potential this has for helping our clients to reduce time to market, and encouraging simultaneous multiple language product release. Our mission is to develop cutting edge technology and apply it to addressing real world translation needs, and this is a great example of our vision in action."
