JSCAPE and SoftAspects have released their popular WebGalileo Faces component suite as open source under the Apache License.

Aside from the economic benefits, the decision will benefit new and current users by providing a user community forum and expanding the user base. The forum will provide support for users, however commercial support packages will also be available for purchase. Current licensed clients will continue to receive support from JSCAPE and SoftAspects.
WebGalileo Faces is a suite of Ajax-enabled Java Server Faces (JSF) components for streamlined development of Rich Internet Applications. Using WebGalileo Faces, developers can create web based applications in a fraction of the time required and with fewer errors.
