About the Author
Steve Dawson is a typical Alaskan expatriate, trained as a biologist, but easily distracted from that task to revel in the wonders and excitements of the greater outdoor panoply. Raised in Nevada to an eclectic mix of mining, gambling, ranching, and hunting and fishing guiding, he next tackled commercial fishing, flying, and most of what the Great Land had to offer in the twenty years he spent there. He "retired" to Montana with his family since 1986, where he operated gambling machines for ten years and still deals in antique guns.
