Pete Hubbard's lively paintings are on exclusive display, in Café Joel, Hanger 6, next to the Novato Public Library. The café is located in Hamilton Landing, the new multi-tenant business park in Novato, CA.
Novato, CA (PRWEB) July 24, 2007 -- Café Joel currently features dynamic art work by Pete Hubbard. The café which serves delicious California Cuisine by Chef Joel, weekdays from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, is a great place for art & food lovers to visit.
Co-Owner, Karen Broby, became fascinated with Pete's art when he was exhibiting with Anger Mora at Café Arrivederci, in San Raphael. Anger conducts a weekly art and music Salon, where Pete presented his work on several occasions. Pete's unconventional approach to painting caught her attention. Several years later, Karen and her partner Joel opened Café Joel in Hamilton Landing. They decided that Pete's expressive paintings would enhance their restaurant's California ambiance.
Pete reports that interest in the art displayed at the restaurant has been high and he has received numerous inquiries regarding the work. Karen and Joel plan to rotate pieces periodically.
Among the paintings currently featured are Bad Boy, shown at the Florence Biennial in 2003, and America the Beautiful which won honorable mention in 2006 at Evolving Art Gallery in Vallejo.
Hamilton Landing is also home to the Novato Arts Center, which features juried shows by California Artists. The nearby Hess Collection and Di Rosa Preserve show artist's of international stature.
