Poggenpohl's PLUSMODO is a revolutionary kitchen architecture based on the dual concept of displaying and concealing, and designed by renowned Spanish furniture and lighting designer Jorge Pensi. Design elements include open and closed areas, with glass pull out trays and sliding doors, illuminated satin glass shelving, and a unique mix of materials (marsh oak wood, satin lacquer finishes and aluminum). The unique six-inch thick quartz countertop is suspended above the four glass pull-out trays. The PLUSMODO kitchen is a model of innovative structure, functionality and ergonomics.

Siemens presents futuristic appliance concepts including the avantGarde™ multiMedia Hood -- a ventilation hood with an integrated high-quality flat-screen TV, as well as a DVD and CD player. The company also presents a "lift" oven with a base that descends at the press of a button to the cook's workspace for unprecedented access and easy placement and removal of dishes, and the stylistically advanced metalDesign™ induction cook top whose unusual iridescent metallic color and sheen come from the use of thousands of tiny dots packed together.
