Scottsdale, AZ (HRMarketer/PRWeb) July 26, 2007 -- WorldatWork, an international association of human resource professionals focused on attracting, motivating and retaining employees, is scheduled to present Total Rewards Europe 2007 at the Conrad Hotel, Brussels (Belgium) on 4-5 October 2007.

Among the speakers are world-renowned experts who have driven the human capital discussion to the top of the public agenda. For the second consecutive year, Xavier Baeten will serve as conference chairman. Baeten is director of the Executive Remuneration Research Centre and the Strategic Rewards Research Centre at Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School (Belgium). He is known for his expertise in executive remuneration, strategic reward management, employee benefits and stakeholder management.

The conference opening keynote speaker is Professor Soumitra Dutta, author of The Bright Stuff and also the Roland Berger Professor of Business and Technology and Dean of External Relations at INSEAD, named the No. 1 international business school in the world by BusinessWeek.

As the former Dean of Executive Education at INSEAD, the largest executive education programme in the world, Dutta has advised leading multinationals on how innovative people and technology can make old businesses new.

Richard Reeves, voted European Business Speaker of the Year 2006, will deliver the conference closing keynote. Reeves is a columnist for Management Today (UK) and writes regularly for The Observer, The Guardian, Director magazine and numerous other publications. Reeves is the author of the highly-publicised Happy Mondays: Putting the Pleasure Back into Work, which calls for revolutionary re-evaluation of modern working life.

Now in its second year, the WorldatWork® Total Rewards Europe 2007 conference brings together leading European employers, academics and management experts from across Europe and elsewhere to share the latest strategies and practices on attracting, motivating and retaining talented employees. From thought leaders’ insights to "lessons from the field," attendees will gain access to the leading minds on the practice of total compensation and experiences learned in leveraging rewards for core strategic/tactical business value.
