San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) July 29, 2007 -- The Academy of Art University's graduate program is stronger than ever, helping our graduates advance their professional knowledge and technical skills to land the job of their dreams. With its recent Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) accreditation, the Academy of Art University's world-class graduate degree program meets the highest standards of educational quality and effectiveness.

The Academy offers accredited graduate degrees in 12 areas of academic emphasis with classes in copywriting, computer game design, urban design, new media, fashion design, figure drawing, graphic novel illustration, home interior design, model making, cinematography, digital photography and more. Students can also enroll in a flexible online graduate degree program.

Through the Academy's intensive and advanced graduate schools, students can develop and enhance portfolios fit for industry needs. The Academy of Art University offers studio courses that expose students to a range of hands-on art and design projects. Graduate students also have the unique opportunity to work one-on-one with an Academy instructor or industry professional of their choice to develop specific conceptual and technical skills to help them successfully bring their final thesis project to completion.

Graduates of the Academy's masters degree program are hired by some of the most prestigious companies. Some firms hiring our graduates include Disney, American Greetings, CNN.com, DreamWorks, Mitsubishi, Sony, McCann-Erickson, EPSON, Pixar and more.

Academy of Art University's Architecture school is nationally accredited by the National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB). With this accreditation, the Academy offers the official professional degree of the architecture industry, the Master of Architecture (M.Arch). In addition, the Academy's degree programs are accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), ACICS, NASAD and the Council for Interior Design Accreditation (Formerly FIDER) (BFA-IAD).

With nearly 10,000 students, Academy of Art University is the nation's largest private art and design university. Established in 1929, the school offers accredited AA, BFA, M.Arch and MFA programs in 13 areas of academic emphasis, as well as online degree programs and continuing art education.
