SolidSpace's wireless broadband service is now available to users in Downtown Winston-Salem, NC as a pay for use service.

SolidWaves was successfully launched in October of 2006 as a replacement for SolidSpace's antiquated DSL service. When a user selects hotspot.solidspace.com from the available wireless connections, they are directed to a secure signup page that offers a variety of plans based on daily, weekly or monthly usage. In only a matter of minutes, wireless users can connect, sign-up for a plan and be connected to the Internet. The service is free from carrier sponsored advertising such as banners attached to the bottom of a user's browser, which is common among wireless providers offering this type of service.
