Seidel’s victory ties him for fourth on all-time winner’s list

After Shawn Sheikan was eliminated in third-place, Seidel battled Chad Brown heads up for more than 90 minutes before claiming the title and more than $538,000 in first-place prize money.
Seidel’s eighth WSOP bracelet ties him for fourth place on the all-time winner’s list with the legendary Johnny Moss. The only players with more career bracelets are Johnny Chan and Doyle Brunson, who have 10 each, and Phil Hellmuth who won his record 11th bracelet earlier in this year’s series.
