Nashville, TN (PRWEB) August 20, 2007 -- Allied Modular Building Systems, Inc., a leader in the modular office industry, announced today that it has been awarded the U.S. Military contract for construction of a workspace and storage area at the U.S. Air Force Medical Logistics Division in San Antonio, Texas.
This Division of the U.S.A.F. Medical Operations Agency provides logistical support to Medical Treatment Facilities located at Air Force bases worldwide. This project will provide modular office workspace and storage to manage IM/IT components for inclusion in WRM projects.
The project further includes Main Electrical, Fire Suppression, Installation and Permits and is only the latest in a series of collaborations spanning well over a decade of successful partnering between Allied Modular Building Systems and the U. S. Military. Installation and final completion date is to be determined based on permitting requirements.
This Special Order project will be custom design-built according to particular project specifications and applications. The primary use of the building will be for the Air Force Medical Operations Agency's use in oversight and execution of AF/SG policies and programs in support of U.S.A.F. global capability and national security strategies. Their staff provides expert consultative leadership for all A.F.M.S. - supporting activities of 43,000 personnel serving 2.4 million beneficiaries through 75 Medical Treatment Facilities worldwide with a budget of $6.2 Billion and partners with OASD/HA, SECAF, CSAF, and civilian industry professions.
