Measuring the investment in human capital is key to an organization’s success now and in the future -- whether that investment is employee recruiting, performance management, skills development or benefits administration. IHRIM’s "Human Capital Measurement and Analytics" event, September 18-19 in Philadelphia, features case studies and presentations that will specifically describe how to measure and analyze human capital – and utilize it as a competitive advantage.

Burlington, MA (HRMarketer/PRWeb) August 14, 2007 -- Scheduled for September 18-19 at the Hilton Philadelphia Airport Hotel, IHRIM is presenting "Human Capital Measurement and Analytics: Creating a New Revolution," a unique learning event, sponsored by DoubleStar and HRsmart. Not only will attendees benefit from an extraordinary line-up of speakers with deep knowledge of HR metrics and analytics, but the case studies and presentations will specifically describe how to measure and analyze human capital, and utilize it as a competitive advantage. Visit http://www.ihrim.org/events/analytics/ for detailed information.

The case studies featured include:

For most organizations (regardless of size) to be successful today and into the future, they must be able to measure the business impact of their investment in people — whether that investment is employee recruiting, performance management, skills development or benefits administration

  • Strategic Application of Metrics and Analytics, presented by Tracy Faber, north division sales HR VP, Frito-Lay North America and Alec Levenson, research scientist, Center for Effective Organizations in the Marshall School of Business, University of Southern California

In addition, presentations will be made by two exceptional HR professionals. Jeanne DiFrancesco, principal of ProOrbis, LLC, a specialist in the development and application of advanced management concepts will present "The Value of Investments in Human Capital – The Intangible Revolution." Joanne Bintliff-Ritchie, chief strategist at DoubleStar, will present "Trends in Workforce Analytics," actual outcomes of HCM and analytics initiatives at several leading organizations. She will describe how organizations are using workforce data to drive key business decisions, and provide the audience with provocative insights and ideas for immediate action.

"For most organizations (regardless of size) to be successful today and into the future, they must be able to measure the business impact of their investment in people — whether that investment is employee recruiting, performance management, skills development or benefits administration," said Lynne Mealy, IHRIM president and CEO. "This IHRIM event provides significant knowledge and value to attendees that can be deployed in their companies to ensure organizational success."

These presentations will be followed by an HR Metrics Fishbowl facilitated by Rob Eidson, HR information manager, Deloitte Consulting, LLP. This will be a structured discussion to identify the top challenges and problems HR Metrics practitioners face, and to let the experts in attendance give solutions.
