Atlanta will be Salsa City and invaded by Ana and Joel of Masacote Entertainment, Salsa Heat, Magna Gopal, Alejandro and Laura and Mambo Dinamico. All genres of salsa will be represented in one event. New York Style on two, LA Style on 1, Salsa Casino (casino-Rueda). There will be spinning, body motion, afro Cuban, partner work and a class just for beginners.
(PRWEB) August 16, 2007 --As the finals of So You Think You can Dance are here, and Dancing with the Stars are over, it's now Salsa Time.
New York, LA, and Cuban casino-Rueda will all be represented here at the second biggest salsa event in Atlanta, The Salsa Splash. It is hosted by Marcel Sheriff of www.salsaatl.com and is all happening at two locations.
By day will be a NY Style Salsa Boot Camp and Workshops
The Salsa Boot Camp consists of four hours of salsa classes, covering everything you need to know from cross body leads, under arm turns, to spinning. We guarantee you will be dancing later on that night at the Salsa Splash Party.
Workshops by international and National Professional Salsa Dancers. Ana and Joel Masacote of Boston is the best in the business with their cinematic performances and dazzling choreography. Magna Gopal is the best spinner in salsa, period. Her smooth fluid sexy movements and ability to spin has created a worldwide demand for her to every salsa congress and large event. Mambo Dinamico also known as Betto Herrera, is a quick and fluid dancer. His body movement classes, Afro Cuban moves, and Musicality, has left him in a league of his own.
Workshops are from Noon - 5:00 p.m., and Salsa Boot Camp is from Noon to 4:00 p.m. The cost for the salsa boot camp is $25 - $30 in advance and $40.00 at the door. The cost for the workshops is $45-$55 in Advance and $60 at the door.

The Main Event - Salsa Splash Aug 25th Party will be at Atlanta Ballroom Dance Centre 6125 Roswell Road, Sandy Springs, GA. 30328. It starts at 8:30 p.m. with a Salsa Lesson and ends at 2:00 a.m.
Salsa Splash will have Orquesta Macuba Playing live. Live percussionists, performances by professional salsa performers, a beginner class at 8:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. The event ends at 3:00 a.m.
In attendance, teaching or performing will be Alejandro an Laura from Miami, The Cobo Brothers, Mambo Dinamico, Ana and Joel, Magna Gopal, Salsa Heat from Orlando, Gordon Neil, Go Go Earl Rush, Pasofino, Jimmy Rumba, Salsa Atl, Salsa Tele and live music by Orquesta Macuba.
