Leading Florida bridge builders utilizes innovative top-down construction method to complete the SummerCamp Beach Project, Daydock and Fishing Piers.

Franklin County, FL (PRWEB) August 19, 2007 -- Nature Bridges (naturebridges.com), specialists in pedestrian bridges and residential development amenities, announced today it has completed the SummerCamp Beach Project located at the Sells Center Beach Club in Franklin, County Florida.

The bridge builders utilized top-down construction to complete the project which is located in an environmentally sensitive area near the Florida State University marine laboratory. The SummerCamp Beach Project is surrounded by a deck, 355 feet of top-down boardwalk, 170 feet of ramp that leads to the beach and two elevated wooden fishing piers.

All amenities were built using the innovative top-down construction method. With top-down construction, all large equipment stays on top of the new structure during the entire building process. This method provides a long-lasting structure and helps to preserve the surrounding plant and animal habitats during and after construction.

The completed SummerCamp Beach Project will give homeowners access to water via canoes and kayaks. The grand opening of the facility and restaurant was held in June and is open to Beach Club Members.
