Enhance XMLSpy with File Commander PRO

File Commander PRO plugin adds powerful file and XML related functionalities to XMLSpy.

Vienna, Austria (PRWEB) August 21, 2007 -- File Commander PRO is a Plugin for the popular XML editor XMLSpy© and runs on Windows NT/2000/XP/Vista. Simply add File Commander PRO to the XMLSpy© IDE as PlugIn to enhance productivity by saving time and new functionalities.

File Commander PRO combines enhanced File Explorer features with XML related tasks to save time for anyone who is working with XML:

File Explorer Tab: Validate XML instance files without the need to open them in the editor. In combination with the powerful subfolder scan even multiple files in different folders can be validated. This is a quick and easy way to get an overview if files are valid or not. The name filter is used to find quickly files and folders.

Workspace support: File Commander PRO reloads the files which were open the last time XMLSpy© was used on the next startup. Ever wanted to set bookmarks in your files for the next day? Now bookmarks are restored in the TextView and the last selection is also set.

History Tab: A detailed list of all opened files until now. Provides the full path of files in the history and is not limited to only 10 entries. The History also checks if a file was modified from outside since it was open in XMLSpy© for the last time.

Increased safety: Periodically created backup files of any modified documents in the editor.

Notes tab: Just enter or copy-paste everything you need to remember or what you want to keep for the next time you are using XMLSpy©.

The File Commander PRO plugin costs $14.90 and is available immediately from spycomponents, Vienna, Austria.

Evaluation copy available on request.
