Orlando, FL (PRWEB) August 25, 2007 -- At the International Legal Technology Association's 30th Annual Education Conference held in Orlando this week, WinScribe today announced the release of WinScribe 3.7 SR1. SR1 offers several enhancements and provides for the integration of WinScribe 3.7 with Dragon Naturally Speaking 9.5.

With this new integration, WinScribe provides a complete solution right at the desktop: both client-side and server-side speech recognition are included. When client-side speech recognition is used, recognized text can be viewed, edited and corrected while the author is dictating a report (or sent to an editor for all/some correction). When server-side speech recognition is used, the author can dictate and send his recording to the WinScribe server, where speech recognition takes place. From the server, the recognized text and sound file can be automatically distributed for proofreading and correcting, providing an even faster turnaround time and less labor-intensive document creation process.

Server-side recognition offers far reaching benefits because authors do not require any speech recognition software to be installed onto their local PC, do not require any training in its use, and they can, of course, record from anywhere at any time with predetermined job types going straight to background recognition.
