Delray Beach, FL (PRWEB) August 25, 2007 -- The Boca Bearing Company is proud to announce the recent expansion of their range of ceramic bicycle bearings. Boca now offers Lightning Ceramic Hybrid bearings, Lightning Premier Ceramic Hybrid bearings and Full Ceramic bearings for bikes. For the past 20 years the Boca Bearing Company has been an innovative leader in miniature, precision ceramic ball bearings for hobby, recreation & industry. This newly expanded line introduces ground-breaking solutions for the mountain, road, velodrome and BMX bike markets.

Boca Bearing's Lightning Ceramic Hybrid bearings are competitively priced, allowing every rider the opportunity to use ceramic technology that historically has been reserved for only the top pro team riders. Full Complement style ceramic hybrids are also being introduced to provide more protection in abusive areas such as bottom brackets. Full complement bearings have no retainer and a full complement of ceramic balls and are therefore capable of handling much heavier loads.

The Lightning Premier Ceramic Hybrid bearings are for those competitive riders that are looking for every possible advantage. Boca's Lightning Premier Ceramic Hybrid bearings have high precision, Grade 5 ceramic balls, closer ABEC 5 tolerances and high speed polymite retainers. The more precise a bearing is the truer it will spin resulting in a decrease in rolling resistance. The Lightning Premier Ceramics are designed for speed.

After many requests Boca Bearings is now also carrying a limited range of Full Ceramic bearings. Full Ceramics are not recommended for off road bikes but are more suited for controlled riding environments like road and velodrome racing. Full ceramics have been introduced as a further enhancement to take discerning riders further and with less effort, they come with Teflon reinforced retainers and specially designed seals. Full ceramics are decidedly lighter than both standard and ceramic hybrid bearings being two-thirds the weight of steel.

Boca Bearings makes it easy for consumers and repair shops to find the exact bearings for their bikes. A full cross reference guide with all of the popular hubs, bottom brackets, headsets and pivot points is available from the website or upon request. Discounts are also provided for adding or updating any new cross reference information. Media samples are available for review and high resolution images are provided below.
