HP today announced Serena Williams as the latest featured “Achiever”
in a commercial spot that continues the evolution of HP’s
award-winning “The Computer Is Personal
Again,” marketing campaign. The new Serena
Williams spot will debut on USA and ESPN networks, and online at
SportsIlustrated.com, ESPN.com, and Yahoo! as the 2007 U.S. Open
swings into action on August 27, 2007.

Highlighting her competitive passion and her love for design,
animation, fashion, and movies, the spot shows Serena using her
personal computer for uniquely personal activities such as tracking
her competition online, downloading music before a match, managing
personal photos, playing video games, and developing designs for her
clothing line, Aneres.

Fans can also get personal with Serena through the interactive “Serena
Web Experience” (www.hp.com/serena),
which goes live August 31. Visitors will be able to view video blogs
from Serena’s family and friends, download
Serena’s favorite ringtones, view footage of
Serena in a tennis match with Wee-Man, browse her latest tournament
apparel, watch the new Serena Williams animation video, or view a new
Serena Williams documentary.

computer achievers including Vera Wang, Jay-Z, Pharrell Williams, Mark
