Scott R. Smith Joins Aspen Avionics as Sales Manager

Latest addition to grow sales in Southeast region.

Albuquerque, NM (PRWEB) September 5, 2007 -- Aspen Avionics, Inc. announced today that Scott R. Smith has joined the company as the Southeast Area Sales Manager. In this position, he will be responsible for sales of the recently announced Evolution Flight Display System and help to establish both a dealer network and customer care programs for Evolution and other company products in his region.

Smith was most recently a regional sales manager for Garmin International where he successfully managed his sales territory, conducted more than 200 seminars for pilots and aircraft owners as well as provided many media demonstration flights of Garmin products.

Scott’s experience is invaluable to us. His experience working with dealers, demonstrating products to potential customers as well as his vast experience as a sales manager and a pilot make him ideally suited to join Aspen Avionics

Smith earned a degree in business administration from the College of the Ozarks. He is a commercial pilot and flight instructor with approximately 3000 hours of flying time, including more than 200 hours in tail wheel aircraft.
