WellDog, a Laramie, Wyoming-based energy technology company, announces the release of Zone Isolation Service™, the only service available today that analyzes mult-zone coalbed methane wells.

Laramie, WY (PRWEB) September 14, 2007 -- WellDog, a Laramie, Wyoming-based energy technology company, announces the release of Zone Isolation Service™, a process that isolates and analyzes multi-zone coalbed methane (CBM) wells.

Zone Isolation Service™ isolates each zone (seam) of interest in a CBM well by using an industry standard packer system. Information is then collected from the coal seam and analyzed with WellDog's patented full-spectrum chemical analyzer. Using satellite communications, the information is sent to WellDog's Data Analysis and Interpretation Center, and fully vetted results are returned to the customer within three days.

The Zone Isolation Service (ZIS) recently completed rigorous field testing at the Rocky Mountain Oilfield Testing Center (RMOTC) in Casper, Wyoming.

"ZIS has been field tested and is in full commercialization," said Wayne Greenberg, CEO of WellDog. "We are very excited about the new service because it is the only service available today that can tell an operator which coal seams can be developed most economically with the least water handling. WellDog takes a very complex issue and delivers a straightforward, accurate solution that requires minimal intervention at the well."

About WellDog, Inc.:
