We're confident that people will find them both beneficial and convenient. The new avenues that are now available to us with podcasting should allow people to get access to the health information they need on the go.
"We're very excited to be able to provide these podcasts to the public," says David Bennett, the Director of Web Resources at MUSC. "We're confident that people will find them both beneficial and convenient. The new avenues that are now available to us with podcasting should allow people to get access to the health information they need on the go."

The podcasts cover topics that include aging, cancer, heart health, mental health, preventative health, weight loss, and many others. Users can subscribe to podcasts regarding the topics they are interested in via an RSS feed. This will enable users to directly download the podcasts to their computers or portable mp3 players.

About Podcasting
Podcasting is a relatively new technology that allows for easier distribution of audio and video files over the internet. Podcasting is a method of media delivery that allows users to automatically download the files to their portable media players automatically. However, users can download or listen to the files on a computer without the use of a portable player.
